H Sony ανακοίνωσε μέσω των λογαριασμών social media του PlayStation ποια είναι η περίοδος κυκλοφορίας του VR headset, PlayStation VR2.
Εδώ και αρκετούς μήνες, η Sony φροντίζει ανά τακτά διαστήματα να δημοσιεύει πληροφορίες για το νέο headset εικονικής πραγματικότητας, που θα συνοδεύσει το PlayStation 5.
Ας δούμε λίγο το χρονικό έως τώρα:
- 23 Φεβρουαρίου 2021: H Sony ανακοινώνει τη νέα γενιά VR για το PlayStation. Δεν δείχνει κάτι, αλλά μιλά για καινοτομία, εργονομία και τα βελτιωμένα χαρακτηριστικά
- 18 Μαρτίου 2021: Παρουσίαση των χειριστηρίων της νέας γενιά του VR, στο PS5. Έχουμε αναλυτικές φωτογραφίες και χαρακτηριστικά.
- 4 Ιανουαρίου 2022: Έχουμε ανακοίνωση της επίσημης ονομασίας του, PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2), και ονομασία του χειριστηρίου, PlayStation VR2 Sense controller. Δίνονται σχεδόν όλα τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά, όπως ανάλυσης και ρυθμός ανανέωσης, μαζί με τύπο οθονών, αλλά γίνεται αναφορά και σε νέες τεχνολογίες, όπως το “eye tracking” (εντοπισμός οφθαλμού). Παράλληλα, μάθαμε και για το πρώτο παιχνίδι του, το Horizon Call of the Mountain, μαζί με ένα μικρό in-game teaser.
- 22 Φεβρουαρίου 2022: Πρώτη ματιά στον σχεδιασμό του headset. Έχουμε φωτογραφίες και σχολιασμό για τα χαρακτηριστικά.
- 26 Ιουλίου 2022: Μια πρώτη ματιά στην εμπειρία χρήσης και τις νέες λειτουργίες του λογισμικού, όπως το “See-Through View” και άλλα.
- Σήμερα, 23 Αυγούστου 2022 και περίπου λίγο μετά τη 01:00 τα ξημερώματα, η Sony αποφάσισε να αποκαλύψει με μια λιτή φωτογραφία στα social media και την περίοδο κυκλοφορίας του PlayStation VR2.
To PlayStation VR2 θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές του 2023.
