Ένας Έλληνας σκηνοθέτης κάνει την πρώτη του προσπάθεια στον χώρο των βιντεοπαιχνιδιών, με την δημιουργία του «They Left Us Here».
Το «They Left Us Here» είναι ένα επερχόμενο ελληνικό indie horror παιχνίδι που έρχεται σύντομα στο Steam, υποσχόμενο να συνδυάσει υπαρξιακό τρόμο με κινηματογραφική αφήγηση. Δημιουργός του είναι ο σκηνοθέτης Στάθης Χαρόπουλος, ο οποίος κάνει την πρώτη του εμφάνιση στον χώρο των video games, με την SCH GAMING.
Η ιστορία εκτυλίσσεται μέσα σε έναν εγκαταλελειμμένο διαστημικό σταθμό, όπου η σιωπή, η απομόνωση και το μυστήριο λειτουργούν ως κύρια μέσα τρόμου. Ο παίκτης ξυπνά χωρίς αναμνήσεις και χωρίς οδηγίες για το τι πρέπει να κάνει. Το πλήρωμα όλο έχει εξαφανιστεί και εμείς καλούμαστε να βρούμε απαντήσεις.
Ο τίτλος αντλεί έμπνευση από τίτλους όπως Outlast και Silent Hill, δίνοντας έμφαση στην ατμόσφαιρα, το ψυχολογικό βάρος και την αφήγηση μέσω του περιβάλλοντος, αντί για παραδοσιακές μορφές δράσης.
