Το μεγάλο event της Microsoft «Xbox Games Showcase» επιστρέφει, μαζί με μία ξεχωριστή, εκτενής παρουσίαση του Gears of War: E-Day.
Η Microsoft επιβεβαίωσε ότι το επόμενο Xbox Games Showcase θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 7 Ιουνίου στις 20:00 το βράδυ, με παρουσίαση νέου gameplay και σημαντικών ανακοινώσεων από τίτλους first-party, αλλά και συνεργασίες με third-party developers. Το event αναμένεται να καλύψει τόσο μεγάλα franchises όσο και μικρότερες παραγωγές indie.
Αμέσως μετά, θα ακολουθήσει το Gears of War: E-Day Direct, ένα ξεχωριστό deep dive αφιερωμένο στο νέο κεφάλαιο της σειράς Gears of War. Η παρουσίαση θα περιλαμβάνει εκτενές gameplay και νέες πληροφορίες για το prequel, το οποίο αναπτύσσεται από την The Coalition.
Αν και δεν έχει ανακοινωθεί ακόμη ημερομηνία κυκλοφορίας, το παιχνίδι είναι προγραμματισμένο για το 2026, με φήμες να τοποθετούν την κυκλοφορία του στο δεύτερο μισό της χρονιάς.
